Research Interests:

 

My research aims to enhance maize frost tolerance by integrating advanced technologies. Using single-cell analysis, I identify key frost-tolerance genes and regulatory networks in F2 Tripsacum populations. Machine learning uncovers cell-specific cold-tolerance regulatory elements, which, along with these genes, are introduced into modern maize to enable earlier planting and optimize soil nitrogen use.
