Research Interests:

My research interest lies at the intersection of plant biology and statistics, with a focus on leveraging computational
approaches to address complex biological questions. My past work includes developing training set optimization
methods for genomic prediction and developing R packages for hybrid performance evaluation. In the Buckler Lab, I
hope to learn more about machine learning techniques to predict gene expression from sequence features and
unravel the regulatory mechanisms that drive tissue-specific expression patterns.
