Ram K. Sharma was a visiting scientist in Dr. Buckler's lab from 2010-2011 under the IUSSTF Research Fellowship program. Dr. Sharma holds a Scientist position at the Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, IHBT (CSIR), Palampur, India. His research interests include the development and exploitation of various molecular markers technologies for plant diversity evaluation and genetic improvement of crop plants and plantation crops.
