Research Interests:

 

I am the Principal Investigator at the National Key Laboratory of Crop Genetic Improvement at Huazhong Agricultural University in China. Our lab research focuses on the genetic dissection of maize drought tolerance. We generate multiple omics datasets (sRNAome,Transcriptome, Metabolome, Phenome) using AMP, a large maize population, which is grown under drought and well-watered growth conditions.  

 

During my time at the Buckler Lab, my lab will collaborate with the Buckler group to integrate these omics datasets to build  regulatory networks and perform machine learning for genome-wide prediction of maize drought tolerance.
