International Applied Genomics Lead
I focus on applied genomics for plant breeding of underfunded crops alongside international partners of the Buckler Lab. I work with the Innovation Lab for Crop Improvement and the NextGen Cassava Breeding Project.
My background is in wheat genetics and breeding in rainfed systems in the US Great Plains and in coastal Washington State. I have also worked in grant and strategy development in international agricultural research at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
