Graduate Student

Research Interests:

I am currently a Plant Breeding and Genetics PhD student on Schlumberger’s Faculty for the future foundation fellowship at Cornell University. My overarching objective is to establish a career as a proficient plant breeder. With prior experience as a field research assistant in maize breeding programs at both WACCI and Limagrain (intern), I aspire to deepen my knowledge of the scientific foundations underpinning advanced breeding techniques, particularly in the domain of genomics. Presently, my primary focus centers on the elucidation of key genes governing the nitrogen remobilization process and their successful integration into annual maize cultivars. Additionally, I plan to explore the modeling of these cultivars to optimize their adaptation to diverse cropping systems.
