BUCKLER LAB
Anju Giri
Postdoctoral Associate

Research Interests:
I am interested in integrating physiological, genomic, and molecular approaches to understand the biological mechanisms in different crops and their wild relatives. I am studying gene expression changes in relation to plant adaptation under abiotic stress. Prior to Buckler lab, I worked in a wheat breeding program to improve wheat for heat and drought stress tolerance using physiological, genomics and remote sensing approach.

I'm now working as a quantitative geneticist with the Syngenta Genetics team.
Education:
• Ph.D. in Agronomy (Plant Breeding and Genetics), Kansas State University

• M.S. in Biology (Physiology), University of Toledo
